Our fantastic team of Dementia Coordinators work within GP surgeries across Medway, North & West Kent to act as a direct point of contact for people living with dementia and their families. Our Dementia Coordinators can visit you at home or wherever you feel comfortable to create individual support plans that can help you live well with dementia. They will remain in touch via check in calls throughout your journey with dementia, offering support that ranges from a listening ear, to educational advice or urgent referrals.
This service also operates from Darent Valley Hospital ensuring anyone admitted with symptoms or a diagnosis of dementia receives the care and support they need.

Our Wellbeing Service is here to support people living with dementia to stay active, connected, and engaged. Through a variety of inclusive groups and activities, the Wellbeing Team aims to reduce isolation, provide meaningful experiences, and let individuals know they are not alone. We also run dedicated groups that offer vital support and respite for families and carers. Our amazing team of Wellbeing Coordinators create safe, welcoming spaces where people can share, learn, laugh, and feel a true sense of belonging.

At the heart of The Beacon is a dedicated team of compassionate, dementia-trained support workers who create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for people living with dementia. Open Monday to Friday from 10am–3pm, our day support service is designed to offer meaningful engagement, stimulation, and social connection in a warm and inclusive setting. Whether through reminiscent singing session, creative arts, pamper sessions, or simply sharing a laugh over lunch, our team ensures everyone who walks through our doors feels valued, connected, and included.

Our Support at Home Team delivers trusted, high-quality support for people living with dementia in the comfort of their own homes. Support at Home is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered domiciliary care service delivered by a team of compassionate and highly trained support workers, all specialists in dementia care. We hold ourselves to high standards - both in the care we provide, and the relationships we build with those we support. Every member of our team is carefully selected for their empathy, reliability, and commitment to person-centred care.

Our fantastic Fundraising Team plays a vital role in championing our cause and inspiring the support needed to make our work possible. In an ever-changing landscape, and as a charity that relies on voluntary support, their role is more important than ever in helping us sustain and grow the services we provide. Through organising community events, supporting individuals taking on a personal challenge, or working with businesses to build meaningful partnerships, our team is here to guide and inspire every step of the way. The Operations Team plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of ADSS, bringing together a wide range of skills and expertise that support every corner of the charity. This team includes our People Manager, Office Manager, Training Manager, Volunteer Manager, Quality and Development Manager, Communications Coordinator, Finance Officer, Executive PA, and Kitchen Cooks.
