Living with dementia can present daily challenges – but with the right support, it’s possible to live well, with dignity, confidence and connection.
Our Support at Home services offer bespoke care delivered by experienced, dementia-trained professionals. They are designed to support people with dementia and their loved ones in the ways that matter most – from practical help with everyday tasks to emotional support and meaningful companionship.
Our Support at Home services are delivered on a flexible, paid basis, tailored to the level of support that’s right for each individual. We offer two levels of care to suit different needs:
This one-to-one service offers meaningful, flexible support in the familiar surroundings of home. Our Community Care Workers are not just highly trained – they are dementia specialists who understand how to build trust, preserve life skills and encourage choice and confidence.
We carefully match each individual to the Community Care Worker that’s right for them, to create a consistent, positive relationship that helps the person with dementia stay connected to their daily routines and personal interests. Whether helping with shopping or paperwork, or simply providing companionship, our carers can provide respectful, compassionate support that uplifts and enables.
Support at Home Community Care Workers are typically available between 10am and 3pm, Monday to Friday, and can provide support from as little as two hours per week.
When more hands-on support is needed, Support at Home-Plus offers a deeper level of care. This is a Care Quality Commission (CQC)-registered home care service, delivered by small teams of experienced dementia care staff.
This service includes personal care and practical support, delivered with kindness, patience and professionalism. It includes:
• Visits that last a minimum of one hour and are never rushed, giving space for quality interaction and meaningful care.
• A personalised care plan, regularly reviewed and adapted to changing needs, with clear communication and written visit records so loved ones feel informed and reassured.
• Availability from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week.
Our Support at Home services are about more than just care – they’re about helping a person with dementia live well, feel valued and stay connected to the life they love. It means they:
• Feel seen, heard and respected in their own home.
• Gain confidence and stay engaged with familiar routines and interests.
• Maintain dignity, independence and quality of life.
• Feel less isolated, anxious or confused.
For families and carers, it means:
• Reassurance that their loved one is receiving high-quality, specialist care.
• Valuable time for rest, work or self-care, knowing that support is in place.
• Open communication, regular updates and a trusted relationship with our team.
• The comfort of knowing they are not alone in navigating the dementia journey.
