Get your club involved

Why not get your club, group or school involved with fundraising for ADSS? It’s a great way to make a meaningful difference to people with dementia, and it can be great fun too.

Why fundraise for ADSS?

One in two people will be affected by dementia. So it’s highly likely that someone involved with your club or group, or someone close to them, is living with the challenges of dementia. By fundraising with us, you are not only choosing a charity that resonates widely, you are also choosing to make your organisation a beacon of support and understanding.

We raise awareness as well as funds. Our fundraising partnerships aren’t just about donations, they’re about education. We help everyone we work with better understand dementia and the ways they can support those affected.

We offer broad fundraising support. We can provide a dedicated contact to support you and maximise your fundraising activities, as well as providing resources, promotional materials and expert advice.

Here are just a couple of examples of fundraising possibilities: at the golf club and at school. But almost any club or group can provide opportunities galore!

At the golf club

We are experienced at working with golf clubs, tailoring events to the calendar, club culture and fundraising goals. Here are some fundraising suggestions:

  • Captain’s charity day: Add purpose to a great day of golf.

  • Charity golf tournament: Invite local players and businesses.

  • Clubhouse events: Quiz nights, raffles auctions or memory-themed dinners.

  • Golf marathon: 72 holes in a day? Challenge accepted!

  • Raffle or hole sponsorships: Get local businesses involved.

  • Dress code days: Add a fun twist with themed competitions
