Get your school involved

Fundraising at school can be a fun and meaningful way to bring students, teachers, and families together to make a difference. It’s also an opportunity to educate pupils about dementia, kindness, and community support. We can help arrange talks or assemblies to raise awareness in your school.

Here are some fundraising suggestions:

  • Sponsored walk or run: Organise a school-wide walk or running event. Make it a community event by inviting families to participate and provide fun incentives for students who raise the most funds!

  • Bake sale: Encourage students and parents to bake their favourite treats and have a bake sale during lunch breaks or after school.

  • Non-uniform day: Host a themed dress-up day where students can pay a small fee to dress in costumes or their own clothes.

  • Talent show or concert: Organise a school talent show or concert where students showcase their skills, from singing to dancing to comedy. Charge an entry fee and offer prizes for the best performances.

  • Art auction: Encourage students to create artwork and hold an art auction, either in-person or online, and invite the school community to place bids on the pieces.
